Biography
Xie Yuanxin (also known by the art name Xie Haoyi) was born on December 31, 1967, in Chongyi, Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, China. He is a Han Chinese painter currently based in Beijing.
He is a professional artist, National Second-Class Artist, and a graduate of the advanced research program of the China Artists Association.
Xie Yuanxin is a member of multiple prestigious art organizations, including:

謝遠新的個人經歷
謝遠新，於1967年出生在江西一個農家小院，自幼喜愛書畫，師從霍春陽等名家。少時，謝遠新常在院子裏、山頂上、牆頭上信手塗鴉。其第一次就業時應聘到一所學校擔任美術老師，後又應聘到工廠從事宣傳工作。在工廠工作的6年時間裏，僅墨汁就用光200多瓶。
為追求藝術發展，謝遠新來到北京，先後在中國美協高研班、北京畫院、榮寶齋畫院、現代工筆劃院、中央美院崔曉東工作室等專業藝術機構研修 。謝遠新現為中國美術家協會會員 ，並兼任中國人民大學客座教授、中國電視藝術家協會詩書畫學會副秘書長、中央美院山水系主任崔曉東山水畫研究會會員、廣東省文化學會美術研究專業委員會創研部副主任、北京現代藝術學校教授等職務 ，並曾供職於惠州一中啟正學校 。

2019至2020年，謝遠新參與了“惠州青年藝術家培育計畫”，得到許欽松導師的親臨指導，該計畫組織學員在湯泉、博羅、東莞、羅浮山等地采風與寫生，使他體會到“藝術源於生活，高於生活”以及“汲古彌新”的道理；基於此次經歷，他創作了作品《汲古彌新》，並於2020年10月9日至11月6日在惠州市中國畫學會藝術館舉辦的成果展中展出。
2020年新冠肺炎疫情蔓延期間，謝遠新心系抗疫，創作了重彩山水畫《閉門瘟疫少，開卷受益多》，在創作感想中寫道“眼在流淚，心在滴血！想通過手中的畫筆盡自已之力所能及之事”，畫面通過緊閉院門的山莊、山路及標語，暗示“不走親，不訪友，不到外面走，全民抗疫”的寓意，以表達“眾志成城，抗擊疫情”的決心。
